  • Butler artists donates sculptures to local school

    The end of April brought two new friends to students at Connoquenessing Elementary School, located in Zelienople, PA. Bill Secunda, an artist based in Butler, lent the school two of his sculptures in honor of Earth Day.

    Holly Boyce, from Butler, knows the way to the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra its all down to practice. The college sophomore will join with other students to sing with the Pittsburgh Symphony Pops later this week.

  • Butler crowns new beauty queen

    Butler County has crowned its latest beauty queen as of the end of December. Seventeen-year-old Kourtnie Regan was given the crown and title of Miss Butler County 2013 during the pageant, which took place at the Kean Theater in Richland, near Butler. The pageant included the traditional evening gown and swimsuit categories, as well as an interview session.
